March Elections 2020
IN THE KNOW...
MARCH ELECTION WRAP UP
Amidst the onset of fear and the rapid spread of COVID-19 just days before the Presidential Preference Primary and Municipal Elections, Palm Beach County held it's first election of 2020.

With the help of the County and our community partners, our staff trained over 200 additional poll workers at the last minute to work Tuesday's election. Although we were faced with many challenges throughout the day, the team pulled together and proved that no matter what, we will do whatever it takes to serve the voters of Palm Beach County.

I am uncertain as to what we will face in the upcoming weeks, however, we will continue to adapt and remain committed to providing the same level of service you have been accustomed to via phone, email, or by appointment (if necessary).

Our work didn't end on Election Day. We have been busy with multiple municipal recounts, the certification of the election, and the audit. We are looking ahead and preparing for the August Primary and the November General Elections.

Thank you for your dedication to democracy and for staying IN THE KNOW!

Thank you to all of the Poll Workers and our Adopt-A-Precinct partners who served on Election Day!
We are so thankful to those who served on Election Day and contributed to the overall success of the election. We had many Poll Workers unable to work due to health concerns. Those who showed up and served their community were truly a blessing.

Yes, we still need Poll Workers to work the August and November elections! Being a Poll Worker is a great way to be a part of the democratic process and make extra money. Position pay ranges from $190-$320.

Our Adopt-A-Precinct program is a fantastic opportunity for organizations to earn money for their cause. Organizations can adopt one precinct, or multiple precincts by using their staff or volunteers to serve as Poll Workers on Election Day. Our team will train all of the Poll Workers and the funds for working on Election Day will be paid directly to the organization.

NOW IS THE TIME TO COMPLETE YOUR CENSUS
Your participation matters!

An accurate count of Palm Beach County is vitally important to the County's future. The data collected is used to determine how much federal funding Palm Beach County will receive; will guide local decision-makers in important community planning efforts, including redistricting, where to build new roads, hospitals, and schools; and affects your voice in Congress by determining how many seats Florida will have in the U.S. House of Representatives.

Communicating with the public is very important to us. We want all of Palm Beach County to be well-informed when it comes to elections and voting.   Thank you for signing up for our email newsletter and staying IN THE KNOW...
