ACTION REQUESTED: PARENT/GUARDIAN SCHOOL SURVEY
Every school year, the CEC network puts out a survey to get feedback from parents/guardians. We greatly appreciate hearing from our families. Please take some time to fill out the survey below.

SUMMER SCHOOL
We are hosting a boot camp-style summer school session this June. The boot camp would be for the HS English and Math content areas. The plan is to run the summer school 3.5 hours a day, three days a week - Tuesday - Thursday. The dates would be June 8, 9, 10 and 15, 16, 17. Math will take place in the morning and English in the afternoon. Potentially students could take both boot camps.

The boot camp's primary goal is to address learning loss and gaps in understanding to better prepare our students for the 21-22 academic year. Students can earn one of two kinds of HS credit. First, they could earn elective math or English credit (.25). The class would focus on identifying their individual areas of growth and strengthen their skills. We will be using innovative technology and alternate hands-on methods to help students grow in math or English.  Secondly, students who fail a high school Math or English course (with at least a 55%) would be allowed to show proficiency on the concepts they did not meet during their course to improve their overall grade and thereby receive credit for the class.

Please use this form to indicate your interest.  Reach out with questions - keshia.medellin@coloradoearlycolleges.org

SUMMER RESOURCES FOR FAMILIES!
We know this school year has been nothing short of a challenging one, and we are so proud of our students for their continued efforts to demonstrate grit and finish out the school year. While we hope that our students and families get an opportunity to rest this summer, we know that for many, challenges don't end with the school year. We want to ensure that our students and families have the support they need to have a safe and healthy summer and have gathered a list of resources in efforts to do so. We want to remind everyone in our community that there is help locally and nationally for many different challenges, and that is a strength to ask for support! We look forward to continuing to support you in the upcoming school year and wish you a restful summer break.
