Backpack Ministry: Help Needed |
Beginning tomorrow, April 20, we need extra hands to help pack food bags for several of our local schools. These bags go home each weekend with children who are in need. The backpack ministry will meet to assemble the bags each Tuesday morning at 9:15am (for approximately 30 minutes) until June 1. Thank you to our Young Women's Bible Study group for packing bags throughout the school year! Their study concludes tomorrow and any additional help would be greatly appreciated! No RSVP needed.

Grace Ladies is an informal group open to any woman who would like to grow in faith through fellowship with other Christian women. We meet typically on the last Monday of each month at 1:00 p.m. in the Activities Center with volunteers sharing devotionals, perspectives on books read, or personal experiences in their spiritual journey.
Interested women are invited to the next meeting Monday, April 26, at 1:00 pm in the Activities Center. We will continue our study of Celebration of Discipline by Richard J. Foster, which can be ordered on Amazon if desired. Our presenters this week, Jeannie Patee and Peggy Bullion, will share their reflections on Solitude and Study, two of the thirteen Disciplines that help us mature in our spiritual lives.

Thank you to the many who have created and donated many quilts and other comforting items to the Gulf Coast Kids House, an organization existing to advocate for children who have been victims of abuse.

Spring Senior Ministries Event: Container Gardening |
|
Just in time for Spring! Would you like to know more about how to start your own floral, herb, or vegetable garden? Come join us on Monday, May 3rd from 1pm until 3pm, in the Activities Center, for lessons and advice; as our very own Master Gardener: Jerry Patee, provides tips for starting small container gardens. Many of you live in smaller spaces or do not have huge yards for gardening so Jerry will be able to help!
Everyone will leave with a floral or herb container garden (please specify on Sign up Genius which you would like). Bring your friends, neighbors, gardening gloves, and dress casually for fun and fellowship. Click HERE to register. We will be wearing our masks and practicing safe social distancing. We hope to be able to see you on Wednesday Evenings at 6:00pm and also on Sundays at both 9:00am and 11:00am for Children's Worship. All children's activities take place in the Activities Center, upstairs. Contact debi@perdidobay.church to be placed on the email list!
Youth
