Happy 2020, dear yogis!
We tend to reflect more on the passage of time as we transition from one year, or one decade in this case, to another. As I recollect memories of the past and set intentions for the future, I’ve been attempting to see the bigger picture of what this all means.
My teacher, Elena Brower, asked us to think about
timelessness
in a recent email. Her words resonated with me and I would like to share them with you. What would your life be like if you choose
timelessness
this year?

Timelessness
(by Elena Brower)
“We're invited to recalibrate our relationship with ourselves every day. Any thought you're currently hosting about what's possible is leading you in one of two directions: toward a more
fixed
sense of time (I'm not ready, I'll never be ready, this isn't possible for me) or a more
mythic
sense of time (anything is possible, I'm limitless, time is just a construct, the world awaits my creativity).
What if you consciously chose timelessness today?
What would you do next if you held to your limitlessness; that all is possible, that the world is eagerly awaiting you?
Then what would be true?”
