Mission Box
This week's mission box supports youth summer missions. This summer both our middle school and high school groups will be going on mission trips to serve others. The middle schoolers are currently in Brunswick, GA working on service projects. In July, the high schoolers will be traveling to the Panhandle to do recovery and reconstruction work in the aftermath of Hurricane Michael. These are both great opportunities for our students to give back to communities in need while growing closer as a youth group. (Text giving: text amount and "youth" to 352-204-0163)
Roof Update
We can't thank you enough for your continued support as we restore and rebuild! As of June 2, 2019 we have received $439,261 for the roof, and have been diligently working with Center State Bank on a loan in the amount of $750,000. Your generous offerings and the loan will allow us to move forward with the roof restoration project and will also include pressure washing and painting the exterior of the entire facility, minus one major building; the youth building, as the building envelope is not water resistant. The project will also likely include painting the interior of the worship center including the kitchen.

As far as accomplishments so far...the small roof/AC project is complete!  We now have 3 new AC units for the first floor and atrium areas as well as a new AC controller system; a much needed replacement to our 20 year old controls.

The large roof project has begun! We have contracted with an amazing roofing company, Architectural Sheet Metal. They are currently working on the education building roof and then will continue on to the worship center roof; keeping in mind our needs, as well as days of higher traffic on campus. We will keep you in the loop as we progress through this project, and of course if you would like to make a new or additional gift toward this restoration project, please let us know by contacting Shannon Rosselle, our Comptroller. Thank you all again for contributing to this much needed repair!
Children & Family Ministries
What a GREAT week we had at Vacation Bible School as 400 children, youth and adults "Explored where God's love can take us!" Our "explorers" did chores to earn money and raised over $1,600 (in ONE week) towards Zoe Empowers.  They also contributed many pounds of food for the Food4Kids Backpack program. Way to go, explorers! You can see some of our favorite moments here
