At this time we also thank you for your contributions to our Seasons of Giving and upcoming Caring & Sharing drives. Let us pray that our donations provide comfort and assistance, and for an ever-increasing gratitude for the many gifts God has given us.

Happy Thanksgiving!

Winter Weather Is Here
With winter having already arrived in central Ohio, we thought this would be a good time to remind our community what happens if school is cancelled.
Bishop Watterson follows the Diocese of Columbus in determining weather-related closures. The Diocese continues to communicate through local media outlets.
In the event of a closure, we use the school messenger system to send a phone message to parent cell phones. We will also get the word out through our Facebook and Twitter accounts.
Caring & Sharing Collection is the Week of Dec. 3

Saint Vincent de Paul Club will be collecting items through Friday, December 7 for our annual Caring & Sharing drive. As you are out shopping, please consider picking up items to assist us in filling bags of necessities for the homeless.

A Reminder About Semester Finals

We have had some inquiries about our policy on semester final exam attendance and so we are sharing that policy here:

Student Handbook, page 15
Testing and Absence – Semester Final Exams
Students must be present during all scheduled finals. The only excused absence is one due to extreme illness. A doctor’s note may be required for verification. If a student is ill and needs to reschedule an exam, they must contact an administrator for permission and arrangements. Exams will not be rescheduled for vacations, club sports, etc. Absences due to reasons other than illness may result in the student receiving 80% of the grade earned.
Please examine our finals schedule closely and plan vacations accordingly. Inform family members, club coaches, employers, parish leaders working on service trips, retreats, etc., that students are not available until exams are over. Please do not schedule doctor’s appointments, elective surgery, etc. during this time.
