Workforce Matters Coalition
The Chamber will be releasing its Vision 2025 strategic plan next month but is already working on it!
In conjunction with Rural Capitol Area Workforce Solutions, the Chamber is looking at ways to ensure local businesses have the workforce available with the skills they need to have to be ready for work. The Chamber will soon be developing its own Workforce Committee to work with Taylor's businesses, educators and others to evaluate what businesses need right here, right now.
While this has been in the works for some time at the Chamber, it is also in line with the Williamson County Strategic Workforce Plan currently being developed.
The WSRCA is developing its Workforce Matters Coalition which will work to address large, shared challenges facing jobseekers and employers such as housing, child care, transportation and broadband within each county and across the region. Workforce Solutions has several pieces of information online relating to the workforce picture around the county.
We encourage you to take a look at them.
  • The Strategic Workforce Plan will guide WSRCA efforts over the next 3 years. Find it HERE.
  • The WSRCA kickoff meeting which reviewed the goals of the coalition can be found HERE.
  • The Covid-19 Workforce Impact Report is updated weekly and can be found HERE.
