Peer Wisdom with Pete's Pointers

Whatever your business, having a 'store meeting' on a regular basis is a must.... employees attend on the clock before or after operating hours. This is NOT a time to necessarily say what needs to be corrected, but it's a time to LISTEN to those closest to the action and appreciate them. Occasionally I would play the boss and go over procedures but this is no time to train. It's a time to understand the wants and mood of your crew. My crew came prepared at meetings with ideas and concerns and knew we would talk it out. A box of donuts helps also.
