Opt to Adopt Mio

Mio is a 12 year old chocolate point Siamese boy. He is super sweet and loves attention. We don't know much about his history other than he was surrendered to another shelter and transferred to us. He does have kidney issues so he has to be on a special diet, and also takes one other medication. But because of his age and medical needs, Mio is on our Perpet-U-Care program. He does well with other cats but would prefer to be the only one in the home. He tends to be easily dominated by other cats. Mio would be much happier if he can be on his own with caring people to give him lots of love.

Do you have questions about the CCS cat guardianship program?

Contact Suellen Scott at 303.239.9680 x 19 or
e-mail  for more information.
It's cookout time in Colorado, and if you shop at King Soopers it is so easy to donate to the cats at Cat Care Society.  Just designate CCS as the chosen charity in your King Soopers account, and every time you make a purchase a percentage of that amount goes to the shelter.  For more information and instructions on how to set your account up, click here.
Stop by the kitten room!
May was another strong month for adoptions, and it demonstrated that we are indeed in "kitten season".
40 cats found new homes in May, and 21 of them were kitten and teens.  We have several young ones in the kitten room, and more are coming in all the time.  The kittens are usually cared for by foster volunteers until they are big enough for spaying/neutering and to be adopted.  Thank you to all of our dedicated foster volunteers!

It's never too soon to plan for the care and welfare of your cats if they should outlive you.  Please consider joingin our Nine Live Legacy Society as you do your life and estate planning.
