 Alzheimer's disease and other forms of dementia were historically considered non-reversible side effects of aging.  As statistics around persons with these diseases (1 in 2 Americans who live to 85 years old will get Alzheimer's or some form of dementia) increased studies were done which corrected previous research and errors in medical judgment.  Within this article, Dr. Kumar shares her own assessment of the cause and suggestions for treatment of age related dementia .  Additionally, she's included a bevy of research data supporting her recommendations.  Half of us are impacted...a must read.
