Peloton
Peloton is reinventing fitness with live and on-demand boutique studio classes you can take anytime with the Peloton Bike, Peloton Tread & Peloton App. Peloton recently opened a kiosk at The Oaks Mall located at 350 W. Hillcrest Drive.
Coaches Ice Cream
Coaches Ice Cream opened at 3345 Kimber Drive next to the Country Harvest Restaurant in the Wendy-Kimber Plaza. The combination of low overrun (the amount of air in the ice cream), the high butterfat content (for richness), and the quality ingredients makes Coaches Ice Cream "the best Super Premium ice cream around."
Pizza Cookery
After 44 years, the Original Pizza Cookery is relocating from Woodland Hills to Thousand Oaks! The new restaurant will be located adjacent to the Best Western Plus Thousand Oaks Inn, located at 75 West Thousand Oaks Boulevard. It will feature items from the original restaurant in the Nostalgia Room, which will can be reserved for private parties.
THOUSAND OAKS UNEMPLOYMENT

According to the California Employment Development Department, the preliminary Thousand Oaks April 2019 unemployment rate is 2.7% - down from 3.4% in March of 2019.
VENTURA COUNTY UNEMPLOYMENT

The California Labor Market report revealed that Ventura County's April 2019 unemployment rate of 3.2% was down from a revised 4.0% in March 2019.

A total of 2,900 non-farm jobs were added in April 2019; however, 100 jobs in manufacturing were lost for a net gain of 2,800 jobs.

The gain in jobs includes:
800 in educational and health services
700 in construction
600 in leisure and hospitality
400 in professional and business services
200 in trade, transportation, and utilities
200 in government

Auto Sales
A total of 1428 new vehicles were sold in April 2019. New vehicle sales decreased by 11.6% from March 2019 and decreased by 21.7% from a year ago. Additionally, 816 pre-owned vehicles were sold.
