Over the past several years, CPI has worked with the New York City Department of Health and Mental Hygiene's Thrive Initiative to create videos and training modules for its Thrive Learning Center. This Learning Center provides resources to community partners who, while not mental health professionals, provide support to community members around mental health issues.

 

The Psychosis video provides important information about types of psychosis, causes, symptoms, and most importantly what to do if someone you know is experiencing psychosis.

We're proud to announce that this video has won two 2018 Davey awards, which are judged by the Academy of Interactive and Visual Arts and are awarded for work done by small media companies from around the world. Our media partner for this video is Modern Epic, based in NYC.

The awards are GOLD in the Online Film and Video - Education category and SILVER in the Online Film and Video - Public Service and Activism category.
