Judges announced for Christmas Parade

Huber Motor Cars owner Clay Huber and Potomac Nationals principals Lani Silber Weiss and Matt Weiss have been selected as float judges for the 2018 Fredericksburg Christmas Parade. This year's parade lineup features 79 entries in six categories and a theme of the Songs of Christmas. The parade begins at 5:30 p.m. on Saturday, December 1 and goes down Caroline and Princess Anne streets between Wolfe and Amelia streets.

New display unveiled at Visitor Center

The talented Pete Morelewicz has created a great new display in the front window of the Fredericksburg Visitor Center featuring a 3D skyline of our Itty Bitty City (preview to your right). Come check it out (we are at 706 Caroline Street).

Fredericksburg to expand VCR Trail

Beginning this spring, users of Fredericksburg's popular Virginia Central Railway Trail finally will be able to walk as far as Interstate 95 without splashing through Hazel Run.

Primary & Urgent Care facility opens

A ribbon-cutting was held last week to celebrate the opening of Dr. Nather Ansari's Primary & Urgent Care facility at 2306 Plank Road. A dental office will also be located in the new facility.  Stay tuned for a "Freehling Finds" interview with Dr. Ansari featuring the facility and his story.
Parking promotion under way downtown

Through January 31, downtown Fredericksburg shoppers and diners will be permitted to park for up to four hours in on- street parking spaces that usually have two-hour limits.

New driving tour coming to Fredericksburg

There is a new tour in the 'Burg, and it's making its debut today! Tickets can be purchased at the Fredericksburg Visitor Center before the 1 p.m. departure.
