Physical Education Spotlight

Students have been working hard in PE.  They have focused on balance and some gross motor skills that involve bear crawls, skipping and jumping jacks.  These activities require coordination of different muscles group as well as focus and body control.   With the decrease in outside play, sometimes development in gross motor can be lagging  for some children.  Different studies say that outdoor play time should be anywhere from 1-3 hours a day at a minimum. Try to include at least an hour a day of outdoor play (not an organized sport).  

Fall Fundraiser

Our Great American Fall Fundraiser began yesterday!  Please help us raise funds for covering Professional Development costs, specials supplies and Extended Day room improvements  Our fundraiser runs from 10/1-10/8/18.

School Cancellations and Delays
 
1. Look for "Washington Local" delays or closings on the news or via news station alerts.  
2. Sign up for Remind to have alerts sent to you via text or email about delays/closings,  event reminders like picture day, field trips, special activities etc.

* Remind will also be used to notify you if there is an emergency or concern that you need to be made aware of immediately.
Please contact the office if you are interested in setting up a Procare account.  This account will allow you to view and print invoices, make payments, update contact information and print tax documents.

This system works with Tuition Express for automatically deducted payments for those who wish to use this service.

Picture Day

Please note the change in picture day.  Pictures will be on Oct. 29th & 30th.  Picture day is assigned by classroom**.

Oct. 29- Ms. Jeanette, Ms. Lexie*, Mrs. L*, Ms. Erin*
Oct  30- Ms. Mary*, Ms. Ashley*, Ms. Lori*

*If your child is in one of these classes and attends only on the opposite picture day, he/she will be photographed on the day of attendance.
**If your child does not attend either picture day, please contact the office for details.
