Grade-Level Sukkah Parties - Sunday, September 30

Attend your children's grade-level Sukkot Open Houses on Sunday, September 30! It's a great way to meet other Heilicher families and enjoy the holiday together. Please note a light snack will be provided by the host.    

New this year! Alumni parents Wendy and Nisso Khabie are hosting a high school-age alumni gathering the same day from 11 a.m-1 p.m. This event is for alumni and their families who graduated from Heilicher between 2015-2018.  RSVP to   Wendy Khabie.  The Khabies  will provide food and drinks. Address information will be sent out separately to alumni families who RSVP.

Heilicher Fall Conferences - October 18 and 19

Heilicher Fall Conferences will be held on Thursday, October 18, from 12-4 p.m. and 5-8 p.m., and Friday, October 19, from 8-11 a.m. Grades K-2 Conferences are PARENTS ONLY. Grades 3-8 Conferences should involve both parents and children. Note that there will be an EARLY DISMISSAL (11:30 a.m.) on Thursday, and NO SCHOOL on Friday (see Fall School's Out Programming info below).

Join Us for Doing Good Together's Family Service  Fair 

Heilicher and the Sabes JCC invite you to Doing Good Together's Family Service Fair on Sunday, October 28 at 10 a.m. This event is designed to empower families  to raise caring, engaged children by working together on a series of kid-friendl y service projects to benefit local non-profit organizations.  

Projects at this event will include assembling birthday bags for families experiencing economic insecurity, writing and decorating thank you cards for members of the U.S. military, mixing non-toxic home cleaner, and more! Organizations benefiting from the service project creations include: PRISM, Jewish Family and Children Services, Operation Gratitude, J-HAP, ACT V Rescue and  Rehabilitation and more.
Building Community in the Backyard and Fall Kick-off for Annual Benefit 

Please join us for a parent-only gathering. Enjoy wine and dessert, connect with our parent community and learn about exciting Heilicher engagement opportunities and happenings.

Join the Heilicher Grade 2-6 Choir 

In choir, students in grades two through six have the opportunity to study vocal music, perform at school and community functions and explore a variety of musical styles. If your child is interested in participating in the Heilicher Choir, please fill out the Choir Form by Thursday, October 4. The choir practices once per week during recess. Rehearsals begin the week of October 8. Sign up today!
LEGO® Robotics with Play-Well TEKnologies 

Is your child looking for something to do after school this fall & winter? Join Heilicher and Play-Well TEKnologies for for two exciting LEGO® inspired robotics classes. 

Intro to STEM Robotics with Lego materials (Grades K-2)
Join Play-Well TEKnologies for this exciting new class where technology meets creativity. Build engineer-designed projects such as Motorcycles, Castles, Airplanes, and Monorails with LEGO parts.

The Kindergarten-Grade 2 class will take place on  Wednesday's, 3:30-4:30 pm; November 7, 2018-January 30, 2019.

STEM Challenge with LEGO Materials (Grades 3-6)

Join Play-Well TEKnologies for this exciting new class where technology meets creativity. Upper grades tackle Belt-Drive Cars, Truss Bridges, Rail Racers, and Pneumatic Forklifts.

The Grade 3-Grade 6 class will take place on  Tuesday's, 3:30-4:30 pm; November 6, 2018-January 29, 2019.
