THANK YOU TO THE ISPTSA FOR SUPPORT OF TECHNOLOGY AND INNOVATION TEAM
Thank you so much, ISPTSA, for your support and contribution to the IS technology and innovation team. We’ve been able to introduce 3d printing and other technologies to students now more than ever thanks to Maxton and his further development of the maker space. Students have been 3d printing things just about every day since it has opened in April, as well as using other items in the space. Throughout the year they’ve enjoyed using the Raspberry pies to tinker and code with. The 360 camera project is still in development and will continue into next year. The microphone and phone cords have been in and out of my room for different projects all year as well. Your contribution has greatly impacted our day-to-day operations and students' learning and enjoyment of the school and our community.
Thank you again,
Jess Albrecht, Technical Specialist

8TH-GRADE MOVE-UP FAMILY SOCIAL
Saturday, June 15, 4:00–7:00 PM, Kelsey Creek Park Shelter
Hey, 8th-grade parents and guardians, we would love to see all of our 8th-grade families attend the 8th-Grade Move-Up Family Social. Stay for the whole time or even an hour. We will have a potluck meal and games so everyone can have fun and socialize. Our kids have been together for three years—let's set them on a great start to their 4th year at International!
The BBQs will be fired up, so feel free to bring something to grill. There will be outdoor games—volleyball, frisbee, badminton, balls, and maybe even a treasure hunt. Bring portable chairs/blankets to sit on.

VOLUNTEERS SOUGHT FOR 2019-20 TEALS PROGRAM
You can help inspire the next generation. Bellevue School District has partnered with Microsoft Philanthropies TEALS (Technology Education and Literacy in Schools) Program to build and grow successful and diverse high school computer science programs.
This year, 21 volunteers are supporting CS classes in BSD. Volunteers contributed thousands of hours and added matching dollars to support computer science education in the district. Thanks to volunteers, Bellevue students have consistently scored higher on the AP CS exam than the national average.
TEALS exists because many high schools want to offer computer science but don’t have teachers trained to teach it. To fill this gap, TEALS volunteers work with classroom teachers to team-teach students, and equip those teachers with the knowledge to teach students on their own.
We would love to have more volunteers from Bellevue join us in supporting schools for the 2019-20 school year.
