Greystone Names Patrizia Pesce Director of Nursing Services for Kendall Lakes Health and Rehabilitation Center
Greystone Healthcare Management, an industry- leading healthcare management company, has named Patrizia Pesce as Director of Nursing Services at the Kendall Lakes Health and Rehabilitation Center, scheduled to open this fall.  The Kendall location is Greystone's fourth health and rehabilitation center in South Florida and features an array of medical services as well as specialized orthopedic, cardiac and stroke rehabilitation programs. 

Pesce brings significant nursing leadership experience to the position.  Most recently, she served as the Director of Nursing Services for Greystone's skilled nursing facility in Wilton Manors, having also been a unit manager there.  Prior to working at Wilton Manors, Pesce was the Director of Nursing for North Beach Health and Rehabilitation (North Miami Beach) where she helped the center gain a five-star rating.

Delray Medical Center Appoints CEO
Delray Medical Center has appointed Maggie Gill to the position of Chief Executive Officer. Gill will be responsible for overseeing all strategic, operational and clinical activities at Delray Medical Center. She is also the new Palm Beach Group CEO for Tenet Healthcare, which consists of a network of five hospitals.

"She is well positioned to help us continue to grow and build the wide-range of lifesaving, award-winning programs we offer including comprehensive stroke care, level I trauma and cutting-edge cardiovascular services both at Delray and throughout the county."
Cleveland Clinic Florida Recognized for Higher Quality Transplant Care
Cleveland Clinic Florida, one of the leading institutes for heart, liver and kidney transplantation in South Florida, has been recognized as a Blue Distinction Center for Transplants for Adult Liver as part of the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association's Blue Distinction Specialty Care program. Blue Distinction Centers are nationally designated hospitals that show expertise in delivering improved patient safety and better health outcomes, based on objective measures that were developed with input from the medical community.

Cleveland Clinic Florida received approval from the United Network for Organ Sharing to perform adult liver and kidney transplants in 2013 and adult heart transplants in 2014 and has completed a total of 807 transplants to date. As Broward County's largest provider of solid organ transplantation, Cleveland Clinic Florida's Transplant Center completed 220 organ transplantations in the first eight months of 2018, 50 of which were adult liver transplants.
