New Temporary Art Installation In Honor of Josue Flores
Visit the "Scaped Senses" interactive art installation, created in loving memory of Josue Flores. This installation was woven into a central basket sculpture by volunteers, representing how the community has come together in order to protect and strengthen those within it. Visitors are invited to spend time on a meditative walk into the center of the labyrinth which surrounds the installation.

Put Your Storm Debris Out
Solid Waste wants residents to know that while heavy trash pickup is still suspended, if you have storm-related debris, you can still put it out for pick-up. For example, this includes (but is not limited to): flood-damaged furniture, packaging related to replacement materials, and sheetrock.
Operation Stocking Stuffer
HFD's Annual Toy Drive "Operation: Stocking Stuffer" will begin on November 17, 2017 thru December 19, 2017. Just drop a new unwrapped toy donation at your local Houston Fire Department fire station. The City of Houston is partnering with multiple groups to provide home repair assistance to seniors and disabled citizens with homes that have sustained damage as a direct result of Hurricane Harvey.
