January 2020

Age-Friendly Englewood  is a community-wide project that is working
to ensure that residents of Englewood can age-in-place
in their homes and in the community with dignity and independence.
Age-Friendly Englewood seeks to help the community
become
more livable for people of all ages,
with particular attention
to the rapidly growing number of older adults.

An age-friendly community is one that is a great place
to grow up and grow old.
Hooray!! Two More Years!!

Age Friendly Englewood has been awarded a grant of $175,000 from The Henry and Marilyn Taub Foundation to continue our work through October 2021. Activities pursued since the project started in 2016 will continue and several new projects will be launched.

Each project is designed in collaboration with a partner organization in Englewood, and each will address  isolation, promote health and an active lifestyle, and bring people together across  differences of race, religion, ethnicity and age.
