  • All students must be supervised by a parent after school hours while on school grounds

  • Cell phones and other electronic devices may not be turned on or used during the school day, on field trips (unless permission is given by the teacher), or during after-school activities. National Geographic Geography Bee
It was neck-and-neck for a while, but Gabe pulled ahead with his geographic dexterity! Congratulations on winning Immanuel’s National Geographic Geography Bee! We were quite impressed that all of our competitors made it through the first round of questions! To all of this year’s GeoBee contestants, we are proud of you! Two students from G4-8 qualify for Immanuel’s Geography Bee based on proficiency tests within their classroom. The school winner can go on to test into the county/state Bee, which then feeds the national Geography Bee!

01/01/01
This month you are invited to participate in an intentional effort to pray for ONE person you know to come to know Jesus as Savior. Its that simple! Here’s how it works: pray for one person to come to know Jesus for one minute at 1 PM each day during the month of Jan. It’s that simple and it’s that important. We hope you will join us in trusting God to do an amazing work in the life of someone you know, and in the process trusting God to do an amazing work in your own life!
Online Option for Donating to Chapel Offerings
If adults would like to donate to charities that our students support through their chapel offerings, that can now be done online by clicking on the link here .

We encourage students to continue to bring their chapel offerings to place in the plate or box during chapel, as this is a tangible way for them to learn about stewardship and supporting God's work in His Kingdom.

Each month during the school year a different charity receives 100 percent of chapel offerings collected. The charities for the remainder of the school year are listed below.

  • Jan. – LCC Comfort Dogs Human-care and compassion ministry utilizing specially trained purebred Golden Retrievers.
  • Feb. – Adopt-A-Student at Concordia Seminary Financial support for a future Lutheran Church-Missouri Synod pastor.
  • Mar. – Hearts for Jesus/Lutheran Heritage Foundation Translates and distributes Bibles, Luther’s Small Catechism, and Bible stories in more than 100 languages.
  • Apr. – Voice of Hope Ministry to inmates at Stateville Correctional Center in Crest Hill, Illinois.
  • May – Phil’s Friends Provides support and hope to those affected by cancer.
