GROOMED FOR LITERACY INITIATIVE
Groomed for Literacy is a partnership between the Houston Public Library and Put It In A Book Foundation. Groomed for Literacy aims to address the literacy gap for underserved youth and to promote a love for reading by expanding access to quality books in communities. The program supports placement of Little Free Libraries stocked with books in barbershops citywide.

If you or someone you know owns a barbershop and would like to participate, please visit the Houston Library to learn how to sign up as a partner or as a participant in the building of the Little Free Libraries this Saturday, September 24th.
