Spokane County United Way  Announces $2.5 Million  Commitment
37 Local Programs will benefit from funding

Spokane County United Way is one of the top three funders in our community for nonprofit programs. Spokane County United Way is making a two-year commitment (2019-2021) of $2.5 million to 37 local community programs, of which eight are new recipients* of funding.
Those receiving funding will partner with Spokane County United Way to provide safe homes free of child abuse, neglect and domestic violence, increase academic success for youth and young adults, and create pathways to family-wage jobs and economic success.

By funding new programs, we are increasing our ability to support foster youth and refugee children. Our work to address our community's high rate of domestic violence is taking on a more holistic approach by working both with the YWCA Spokane and the Spokane County Domestic Violence Court system.
