  • EPHS’ football team will face Lakeville North in the 6A State Championship following a 34-14 victory over Blaine. Gametime is set for 7 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 23, at U.S. Bank Stadium.

  • EPHS’ girls swim and dive team placed fourth in the team competition and in the top 16 in several events at the Class AA State Meet including first place finishes in the 100 backstroke (Chloe Skogg) and in 200 medley relay (Skogg, Kylie Rydland, Grace Logue and Grace Witherspoon). Eden Prairie placed second in the 100 backstroke (Katelyn Pennell) and in the 200 freestyle relay (Faith Larsen, Logue, Lorelei Schwab and Witherspoon); third (Rydland) and 15th (Esmae O’Gorman) in the 100 breaststroke; fifth in the 400 freestyle relay (Larsen, Schwab, Logue and Witherspoon); seventh (Larsen) and 14th (Logue) in the 50 freestyle; 13th in the 100 freestyle (Larsen); 15th in the 200 individual medley (Rydland), and 16th in the 100 butterfly (Mallory Miller).

  • Riley Tillitt, EPHS Class of 2015 graduate and senior at Yale University, was named an American Rhodes Scholar. Tillitt was one of 32 students chosen from 880 applicants to win the scholarship. Tillitt will head to Oxford next year to study public policy and criminal justice.
School Board Agrees to move forward with Designing Pathways; Proposal includes a referendum for community approval

At their regular business meeting on Monday, the Eden Prairie School board unanimously agreed to move forward with the Designing Pathways recommendations .

Superintendent Dr. Josh Swanson’s Designing Pathways recommendation includes four components: improve the middle school experience by transitioning 6th graders, transition 4 year old preschool to the elementary schools, improve safety and security across all eight schools, and redesign classrooms across the district.

Eden Prairie Schools is thankful to its parents, students, staff and community as we head into this Thanksgiving Break for all the support and dedication to inspiring each student every day. We take pride in the great work taking place each day at Eden Prairie Schools and we wouldn't be the outstanding district we are today without your support.

As a reminder, there is no school Wednesday, Nov. 21 through Friday, Nov. 23. Classes will resume Monday, Nov. 26. We hope you all enjoy Thanksgiving Break!

Office Hours
The Administrative Services Center will be open Wednesday, Nov. 21 from 7:30 a.m. - 4 p.m. Office hours at the schools will vary on Wednesday, so please call ahead if you plan to stop by. School offices and the Administrative Services Center will be closed on Thursday, Nov. 22 and Friday, Nov. 23.
