Congratulations GO graduates!

GO graduates _ staff

Congratulations to the graduates of our 2017-18 training programs! Last week we came together to recognize nearly 100 hardworking GO students for their professional accomplishments, which included completing GO's culinary and construction training programs, earning high school equivalency diplomas and portable credentials, and securing employment. We're very proud of all of these individuals and can't wait to see where they go from here! Our graduates are proof that if you can dream it and put in the hard work, you can do it.

Thanks to the friends, families, GO alumni, donors, board members, and partners who came out to address and cheer on our grads! See more photos from our graduation ceremony on Facebook
In memoriam: Verna Cheryl Wilson

We are saddened to share that the Southside community has lost a beloved member, Ms. Cheryl, who passed away this week. Ms. Cheryl worked as a janitor at the Edington Center for many years. She had a loving soul, a great sense of humor, and a beautiful smile. She lit up our offices and hallways with her positive energy and hugs. We will miss her presence dearly. The GO staff and students extend our sincere condolences to Cheryl's family and friends.

We're grateful to our generous business sponsors and to each person who drank a pint for GO!
