We hope everyone enjoyed the short week last week! We have a great week ahead of us!

Our Book Fair starts this week. Previews will be Monday and the students will be able to shop the rest of the week. Please consider signing up through the sign-up genius link below to help for a little bit. All volunteers receive 10% off their purchase. Evening Book Fair hours will be held on Thursday, November 15th which coincides with Literacy Night. Hope to see you there!

As a reminder, the Ooey Gooey Club has a makeup session this Monday. Also, the last session of Wednesday clubs will also take place this week.

For those who ordered Charleston Wrap through our fall fundraiser, delivery is expected at the end of the week following Thanksgiving. Thanks for your support!

Scholastic Book Fair is here!

The Book Fair will run from 11/12 - 11/16

Students will come with their classes on  Monday 11/12  for a  Preview Day  and will create a book wish list to bring home. Students may bring money in any day after their preview to shop and purchase books. Cash, Check, Credit Card, and E-Wallet accepted - No Tax on purchases. Checks made out to: Sussex Ave School HSA

IMMUNIZATIONS: All students who have turned 11 MUST have their Tdap/Menactra vaccines by the start of school in September, 2019. Don’t wait. Get these done as soon as your child turns 11 years old! Please send proof of immunizations to our school nurse.

MORRISTOWN HIGH SCHOOL THEATRE PRESENTS:
PRANCER
The show,  Prancer,  involves a young farm girl who has fallen on hard times. Throughout her family's struggles, she keeps her belief in Santa Claus and the idea that there are miracles in the world. When an injured reindeer appears in Jessica's backyard, she believes he is the famed "Prancer" from Santa's sleigh. Join us on her journey to nurse Prancer back to health and remind us of helping others- the true joy of the season!

Child's Package!** On Sunday, November 18 from 12:30pm -1:30pm, children with a bonus package can have their photo taken with Santa, complimentary cocoa and cookies and will receive a signed book from the cast of Prancer! See ticket website for more information!
SUSSEX AVENUE FOOD DRIVE

Sussex Avenue's 3rd Grade Girl Scout Troop 96637 is organizing this year's annual fall food drive which will benefit the Interfaith Food Pantry. Their goal is to collect and donate 500 lbs of food to help local families in need. With the holidays and winter approaching quickly, please help them reach their goal by donating non-perishable food such as stuffing, instant mashed potatoes, canned vegetables, soup, canned vegetables, turkey gravy, rice, pasta, sauce, canned beans, cereal, coffee, canned fruit, brownie mix, fruit juice, baby food, wipes, diapers, etc. 

The food drive is going on now through  November 20th.   Please label your donations in a bag with the name of your child's teacher.  The classroom that donates the most items WINS a Popcorn and Pajama Party!  
Auditions for Morristown Onstage: History Happens Here! 


Morristown Onstage, the MEF's premier fundraising talent show will be on Wednesday, February 27, 2019, at the Mayo Performing Arts Center. Now is your chance to share your unique talent.
