& Now, for some sad news...
For decades, Marble Works Pharmacy has operated on Main Street Vergennes. The store, along with locations in Bristol and Middlebury, will all seize operations as of September 1. Pat, Lynn and Wendy have a long history of working together and their many, many customers will surely miss them on Main. The pharmacies are transferring customer prescriptions to Walgreens. According to Pat Covillon, Customer Service Manager, the owners (South Carolina-based, Smith Management Services) are closing all of their stores. On behalf of the Partnership, our thanks to EVERYONE at Marble Works for their excellent service to the community over the years.
And, the road??? VTrans is getting there!
So in our last issue, there was a promise to provide further updates all new businesses coming into Vergennes. Still gathering accurate details for each, stay tuned & stay well & keep masking up!
