Our annual Public Safety Awards meeting was last week and it is always one of the best meetings of the year because we get to honor the men and women that go above and beyond to keep our communities safe and the Sheriff's Department running at top-notch. Congressman John Rutherford and Sheriff Mike Williams joined us as special guests.
Our guest speaker on Wednesday is WBOB radio personality Bill Hay, host of the weekend show I'm Speaking Plainly. He'll provide commentary on Jacksonville's current political scene. Please note we are not meeting on Wednesday, November 21 in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.

Our annual Christmas Kids charity event will be held Saturday, December 1 at the Target Store on San Jose Blvd in Mandarin. We always look forward to this opportunity to provide a shopping spree for well deserving children in need. More details TBA.
