School Updates

Dear AL Community,

As you know the whole world is going through exceptionally trying times. Our school community has been extremely supportive of our disadvantaged families. The Board of Directors and the administration would like to wholeheartedly thank all those who helped the perishable food collection and distribution, and those who generously contributed to the GoFundMe campaign.

Académie Lafayette has set up a COVID-19 Task Force composed of the administrative team, the principals, the social workers, the board of directors and the PTO president. The Task Force meets on a daily basis or whenever necessary to monitor the situation, manage the needed community support and the communication.

You will find below some important information about food service, online academic program, and technology support. As we transition into online teaching and learning, I would like to invite everyone to be patient and to understand that we may face few challenges in this journey.

Please contact me, or your building principal or social worker, if you need any information or support.

Thank you very much for your patience and your strong support. Stay safe.

Elimane Mbengue
Head of School
