Parent to Parent of Georgia
Supporting Parents, Navigators, Local Guides & Brokers
Our Volunteer Roots Run Deep!
Together we support Georgia families impacted by disabilities and special health care needs.

Children with social-pragmatic communication difficulties related to autism, apraxia of speech, sensory processing difficulties, language delays, or other social difficulties may benefit from social skill groups.  A social skills group can help children improve their interpersonal relationships, social communication skills and problem-solving abilities and equip them with the knowledge and skills that they need to respond appropriately when faced with social stressors. Parent to Parent of Georgia's special needs database lists providers that offer social skills groups both with and without typical peers. Please visit our Special Needs Database to find a group near you.

Thank you to All of our Volunteers!

Anyone who knows me knows that December is my favorite time of year.  I really enjoy the holidays and the idea of a year ending and a new fresh beginning right around the corner.  As CEO of Parent to Parent, it's also a great time of  year for me to reflect on 2017 and the things we accomplished together...and I say together because without you, our volunteers, we would simply not be the amazing organization that we are.  This year, with your help, we reached over 12,000 families!  That is definitely reason alone to celebrate!

Transition to Adult Healthcare Training

Is your child 14 or older? If so, this might be the training for you and your child. P2P, along with the Georgia Department of Public Health, will be presenting statewide trainings for both parents and youth (there will be a youth trainer too!) on Transition to Adult Healthcare.
