January is the start of a New Year. We all make resolutions that help us be a better person. Whether it's exercise, diet, or other things we change. We think about what is best for us.
Health and Wellness is the theme this month. The corresponding fruit of the spirit is Goodness.
We have to take care of ourselves so that we can show others our goodness.
This allows us to be like Jesus in our everyday life.
January's focus will be self-care. What is the one thing you do for yourself, monthly, weekly, daily to make sure that you feel at your best? Self care can be five minutes that you take for yourself daily to the hour long massage you get weekly or monthly. It's drinking enough water, reaching out when you feel overwhelmed, and giving yourself a treat.
