In our shared efforts to protect church members and friends and curb the spread of the coronavirus, our church building is closed for services and meetings. But that doesn't mean we don't need time to be together, reflect, and share.
 
To fill that need and help keep us connected, the Rev. James Galasinksi will be offering worship services online.  He will be broadcasting worship through a computer program called Zoom. We are using this service because it can accommodate many participants and the picture and sound should be excellent (that will partly depend on the Internet connection at your end).
 
If you have a computer, tablet, or smart phone, you can link in for the service for free. Information to join the meeting (aka worship) is found in the red box below and here.  If you don't have a computer or internet, you can listen through your phone. The phone number to connect you to the broadcast is also listed below.

A reminder will be emailed to all on Sunday morning, including the link information. You can join the meeting by following the prompts and entering the meeting number.

TEST RUN!
We know this is a big change, and it may take some time for all of us to get it right.  As a "test run" before Sunday morning, James will hold a practice "meeting" tomorrow evening, Thursday, March 19, at  7 p.m. This will allow you to experience the online format and make sure it works for you.

If you have trouble connecting, please contact the church office at 315-386-2498 or  office@uucantonny.org and we will try to connect you with someone who can help you. Remember that the office is being staffed on a part-time basis; you may need to leave a message.

All the while....our Religious Education staff and committee are working to develop virtual programming for children and families. Keep your eye on the church website, Facebook page, and emails for developments!
