Support for Fellow Union Members
April 16: In a show of support for fellow union members, PPOA President Tab Rhodes and ALADS President James Wheeler delivered food and drinks to striking truck drivers at the Port of Los Angeles. PPOA, ALADS, LAPPL, LBPOA and the Teamsters union representing the truck drivers are all among 300 unions affiliated with the L.A. County Federation of Labor. The truck drivers have been denied basic rights and safety standards during the pandemic and we stand in solidarity with them as they work toward a fair and equitable resolution.
