Praise & Thanksgiving
 
Staff and volunteers had a very blessed Thanksgiving feast with 65 clients/kids/family members. Lunch was prepared and served by 16 volunteers from several churches, including Burnett Avenue Baptist, Highview Baptist, Reformed Baptist and Southeast Christian, plus donations from a couple more--we had more than enough food. Many clients left with "to go" boxes. Moms and kids did a craft that included "Thank You God " ornaments that went on a Christmas tree in the lunchroom, and Doctor Kaufman provided a devotional time before lunch...





Thrift 'n Thrive  
In September and October of 2019, our Life Skills students participated in an Etiquette class. The ladies learned about dress and speech and how to "show up" in a positive way that demonstrates the inward changes they are making in their lives...


Year-End Impact
Finishing up our Year End Appeal we still need $29,000 to meet our $100,000 goal...

  


  


Christmas at BsideU  
Merry Christmas from BsideU! We received so many donations for our families this year. From socks to the "Jesus Story Bible" to blankets, we received donations that will bless our women and their children for years to come...

  • Wisdom on how to market our services so more will know about us
  • Clients who are currently pregnant - one with twins!
  • Copies of The Story have been given to a number of clients - pray for them to read, understand, and accept Jesus as Savior
  • Financial needs of clients, many in dire situations, struggling to keep up with finances - wisdom for ministry when and when not to assist
  • Conflict between clients - wisdom for BsideU to discipline appropriately
  • CPS involvement in clients lives - for acceptance of help, ultimately for the safety of the children
  • Wisdom for ultrasound machine replacements
  • Still in need of a Kitchen Manager
