The Brain Injury Alliance of New Jersey, in partnership with Assemblyman Dan Benson and Senator Patrick Diegnan, will be hosting a public policy webinar focused on transportation and disability issues. Specific date is to be announced soon.

Several pieces of transportation-related legislation that can potentially benefit people with brain injury have advanced through the legislative process. Assemblyman Benson and Senator Diegan are to discuss this as they serve as chairs for the Assembly Transportation & Independent Authorities Committee and Senate Transportation Committee respectively. This event can also serve as an opportunity for advocates to express their concerns related to transportation.

Both Assemblyman Benson and Senator Diegnan are recipients of the Brain Injury Alliance of New Jersey’s James and Sarah Brady Award. This award is presented to an individual or group for public service based on an outstanding record of contributions that further the goals of the Brain Injury Alliance of New Jersey through work at the state and/or local level.

If you are interested in attending this event, please contact Tom Grady, Director of Advocacy and Public Affairs at tgrady@bianj.org and write "Transportation" in the subject line.
