rosh hashana
Dear PCS member,
As you probably realize, given the continuing challenging times we are facing, celebrating the High Holidays this year will be a little different!

Rabbi Julie, Cantor Abbe, PCS' co-presidents and the High Holiday committee are setting up a virtual experience that will combine the spirituality and joy of the holidays with the sense of community so vital to our PCS family.

The services will be shorter, some of the music and readings will be
pre-recorded, but most of it will be live in real-time via Zoom.

A link will be sent to members who have paid half of their dues. As always - as per PCS' very mission statement - no one will be denied access because of financial constraints. Please don't hesitate to be in touch with Marcy Gray, 769-2672, mgray@shalompcs.com or PCS treasurer Josh Star, jstar@shalompcs.com. We want you present; we want everyone present.

If you know anyone who would like to be a guest, please invite them to be in touch with Marcy Gray. We are asking for a guest "ticket" donation of $36-$360 but any and all donations are welcome and, again, no one will ever be turned away for lack of funds.

A very special High Holiday goodie bag will be available to be picked up outside PCS during the week before Rosh Hashana. More information to come about this!

Tashlich, casting our sins upon the water, has always been a very special and memorable part of PCS' New Year celebration. We will be sending out a sign-up email to gauge members' interest in participating in-person (with all the safety measures in place!) at Nannyhagen Park on the second day of Rosh Hashanah, Sunday, September 20 at around 1 pm.

We hope you and your loved ones are all doing well, and we look forward to seeing everyone's beautiful faces very soon.

Shana tova!

PCS High Holiday Committee
