Varsity Volleyball in Nor Cal Playoffs Tonight!

The Cougars Varsity Volleyball Team continues their playoff run and will host Branham on  Tuesday, November 6 at 7:00 p.m. at the Carondelet Gym.

Coach Jerry Mix said, "I am excited for our team to compete for a second straight year in the Nor. Cal. playoffs." The team has worked really hard this season and earned a 6th seed in Division 2 after competing in Division 4 only a year ago. "I'm really proud of where are team is currently at," concluded Coach Mix.

Come out tonight and support our sisters as they take on Branham in the Nor. Cal playoffs. 

Golf Team Heads to CIF State Championships

Carissa Wu had a day to remember, Monday, as she helped the Carondelet Golf Team earn a spot in the California Interscholastic State Championships.

Wu, a junior, shot a 1-under 71 - which included a hole-in-one - to finish tied for the lead at the NorCal Regional Championships at Woodbridge Golf and Country Club. Wu's ace came on the 16th hole, a 135 yard par 3.   Wu then won a playoff with Granite Bay's Yena Jang with a par on the first extra hole.

Carondelet's Madison Gamble shot a 73 to finish in a tie for fourth place.

Carondelet had a team score of 393 to qualify for the CIF State Championships.

The top three teams at the Northern and Southern California regionals received bids to the state tournament, which is Wednesday, November 14 at the Victoria Club in Riverside.

Good luck Cougars in your upcoming playoff.

National Letter of Intent Signings - Nov. 14

Carondelet Athletics is hosting National Letter of Intent Signing Day ceremony on Wednesday, November 14.  

All families are invited to attend and all students are encouraged to join us as we celebrate student-athletes who will be pursuing their athletic, academic, and personal goals at the intercollegiate level. Please let us know you're coming and RSVP here.

Modern Music Masters Honor Society Recognizes Carondelet Students

18 Carondelet and De La Salle students were inducted into The Modern Music Masters Honor Society (Tri-M),  an organization sponsored by the National Association for Music Education.

Tri-M highlights the importance of music education of future leaders. Chapter members are chosen for their musical experience as well as a strong desire to serve their community through leadership, service, and character. 

Katherine Blobner '20, acting Tri-M President, said, "it's important to recognize the accomplishments of student musicians as artists and active participants in their community through music and how it offers and opportunity for service and leadership."

Open House Welcomes Hundreds of Future Cougars

Faculty, staff, and students, welcomed future Cougars and their families to our campus last Sunday for Open House.  

Families  strolled the campus,  visited classrooms, talked with our caring, brilliant teachers, chatted with our bright student leaders, and visited with talented staff and administration.

Water-Polo Finishes Winning Season and Sees Bright Future!

Walter Polo concluded their 2018 season 16-8 after a tough playoff loss to Miramonte HS in the playoffs.  Head Coach Cat Arroyo said she "was super excited the way the girls played and is looking forward to the bright future of this program and all it can do."

Adjustment to school days during Visions of Christmas

From Tuesday, November 27 - Friday, November 30, please note the following changes to the regular school day as we host Visions of Christmas, our signature fundraising event.

Lunch Closure: The cafeteria will be closed all week, please have your daughter plan her lunch accordingly.

Special Schedule: Please take a look at the special schedules for the week and note our 1:55 p.m. dismissal times. 

Parking Needs: Due to parking requirements, we highly encourage all students to leave campus directly after 7th period.
