Alexander Zonjic knows all the best places for music--past, present and future. Whether the best is found in the words of classic composition, cutting edge jazz or original work, Zonjic perpetually transports enchanted listeners to that amazing scene through his playing. Zonjic creates music that is remembered for its originality, vital energy and sheer beauty.
Born and raised in Detroit Chris Codish started piano lessons at five. He formed the jazz/funk/rock band The Brothers Groove and has won over 40 Detroit music awards since 1997 for his songwriting, keyboard, and vocal skills. He produced two CD's on Sly Dog (a division of Mack Ave. records) for blues artist Johnnie Bassett whom he performed with for 20 years. He's performed throughout North America, Europe, and Asia with luminaries Hiram Bullock, Alexander Zonjic, and Harvey Mason to name a few.
An internationally known music director, conductor and accompanist, Boles has extensive experience working with many great artists, including Aretha Franklin, Marvin Gaye, B. B. King, Gladys Knight and the Pips, Mel Torme, Etta James and more. Video
