United Changes Boarding Process
United is introducing "Better Boarding" which consists of:

Less time in line: By reducing the number of boarding lanes to two, there is more space to enjoy the gate areas.

Better information: United will provide more information throughout the boarding process.  This includes boarding notifications through the United app and improved gate area digital signage to guide travelers.

Balanced groups and better recognition: Improved premier recognition and better positioning of customers to create balanced boarding groups.
