IMSA Members and Certification Holders -
Effective Friday, March 20, some IMSA staff may move to remote operations as a result of COVID-19. We want to protect the health of our staff and support efforts to minimize the impact of the virus through social distancing.
Recently we implemented IT changes and upgrades that have given us the opportunity to put software and processes in place to enable virtual operations. To ensure that we can continue to serve our members over an extended period, we have spent the last week readying ourselves to move to partial remote operations. Our goal is to maintain “business as usual,” recognizing that the current situation is anything but “usual.”
We intend to continue to provide certification manuals and programs, access to online and staff resources for renewal and CEC credits, and fulfill our associations mission. We remain ready to assist you and answer your questions. Here is a link to our

should you need to contact us.
Planning for our Annual Forum and Expo continues and at this time we hope to be able to proceed as planned in July. Please know this is a very fluid situation and we will keep you updated on any changes to this plan. We have been supporting our Section leadership who are faced with difficult decisions regarding their upcoming meetings. Should you run into a critical need at this time your best contact is your local IMSA Section President or Certification Chair.

Considering the numerous postponed conferences and opportunities for IMSA continuing education,
The IMSA Board of Directors is granting a six-month extension to all IMSA certifications set to expire in March, April, May and June of 2020.
Your online printable certification should reflect this sometime next week. In addition, we will be working closely with our Sustaining membership to make online resources available for CEC hours in various disciplines. Stay tuned for that update when we have it available.
This is a challenging time for all of us. While we are advised to distance ourselves from one another to “flatten the peak,” we also have the opportunity to come together virtually and support one another as we work through this challenge. If we can help, don’t hesitate to ask.
Wishing you good health,
Toby Cummings, CAE
