Remembrance Day Ceremonies on November 11
This year marks the 100th anniversary of the end of World War I and we encourage you to  take a moment to pay tribute to those who have fought and continue to fight for the freedom and peace we enjoy today.

Remembrance Day ceremonies will take place in George's Square and at the Trafalgar Memorial on Sunday, November 11 at 11 a.m.

Culture Days
among the best 

Oakville's celebration of arts and culture held September 28 to October 30, 2018 was among the best Culture Days events in the country according to the annual Top Ten Cites and Towns list  recently released by the Culture Days non-profit organization. We 
ranked  second within the group with populations of 50,000 to 499,999 and took the fifth spot in the overall ranking.
Driveway windrow snow clearing 

If you are 65+ or have a physical disability or medical condition, you may be eligible for our driveway snow windrow clearing program which runs from December 1 to March 31. Pick up an application form at Town Hall, any library, community centre or seniors' centre or download it from our website. Registration is open until November 23.
