Mission Collection: Thanksgiving Dinner |
The November mission collection will be our annual food contribution to the Catholic Harvest Food Pantry. Each homeroom is asked to donate a turkey and canned goods for a Thanksgiving dinner to the Food Pantry.
The Food Pantry is partnering with LifePath Ministries to provide 2,000 dinners to our community. Turkeys of all sizes are needed, as are gift cards to various grocery stores. A list of suggested food items for a Thanksgiving dinner is given below. Items should be stored in each homeroom until
Friday, November 9.
The following are items CHFP has identified as needing the most:
- turkey gravy - jar or canned preferred
- boxed stuffing
- boxed desserts (brownies, lemon bars, etc.)
- canned sweet potatoes
- cranberry sauce
- canned fruit - 15 oz size (peaches, pears, mixed fruit; no applesauce)
Thank you for helping to make a family's Thanksgiving dinner a special one this year.

Please click here for the Senior Form and return it with your payment (checks made payable to York Catholic High School) to Mrs. Nagley no later than Tuesday, November 20.
