Parenthetically (and as Chuck noted in his conversation), we are aware that there are members of our congregation who are experiencing erratic reception of our church-wide emails (perhaps including this one). We are working with our vendor (Constant Contact) to attempt to identify the source of this issue. In the interim, please do two things:
1)
Check the default folders into which your personal digital device is sorting your incoming email (e.g. Spam / Promotions / etc) - many of you may find that some of your CGS emails are landing in these destinations by error.
2)
Alert your friends within the CGS community of this potential disruption: obviously, if they are suffering misdirected emails you cannot be certain that they have received this notice itself...
For our part, we have created a tile (located towards the bottom of our website home page) labelled "Library of Recent Important CGS Newsletters" which links to a chronologically archived roster of our recent emails (particularly those dealing with updates surrounding CGS' COVID-19 responses). This will enable you to check for significant updates as they are released.
As you check in with the "Library" tile, you may want to read any of the earlier email communications you missed, just to provide yourself a historical "map" of how we as a church family have responded to this evolving COVID-19 narrative...
