This Week at Levitt Pavilion Arlington
Aug. 28 & 29
Fall season returns with free music live-streamed right into your living room!
All Levitt Living Room concerts are live-streamed at 8 p.m. from the Levitt Pavilion Arlington Facebook page.

Friday: Texas based songwriter, Max Stalling, had no expectation of ever being in the music business. After attending Texas A&M, he landed in Dallas working for Frito-Lay. But Max also discovered the Three Teardrops Tavern and a musical heritage that he had been nearly oblivious to. Inspired by artists like Townes Van Zandt, Robert Earl Keen, Guy Clark, Lyle Lovett and Jerry Jeff Walker, Max started writing songs, recording albums and eventually touring. About 60,000 CDs later, Max joined musical greats, Kris Kristofferson, Michael Nesmith of the Monkees, Selena, Guy Clark and many others when he received a star on the South Texas Music Walk of Fame in Corpus Christi. His song, "Scars and Souvenirs," was used as the title for an episode of Grey's Anatomy, and he is featured on the CW Network's Troubadour, TX television series. He has shared the stage with most of the artists who inspired him to start writing in the first place. Max's style is modern with a vintage feel, as listenable as it is danceable with a unique voice and amusingly clever song lyrics.

Opening artist: Steve Helms at 7 p.m. Known for his unofficial Texas anthem, "Nowhere But Texas," Steve also has a beer named for his hit single at Legal Draft! Steve's latest single, "The Spirit Lives On" perfectly captures what is happening in our world today.

Saturday: He's been taking Texas to the country and Texas country to the world for around 40 years now. Gary P. Nunn has established himself as an icon of Lone Star music. A founding father of the progressive country movement out of Austin in the 1970s that changed the face of popular music, Gary P. also is an independent music pioneer who continues to oversee his own record label and song publishing companies, manage his own career (with the help of his wife Ruth), and play almost every weekend at top music venues throughout Texas and beyond. His composition, "London Homesick Blues," with its internationally known "I wanna go home with the Armadillo" chorus is a signature Texas country song that was the theme for the PBS concert TV show Austin City Limits for nearly three decades. It's no wonder that All Music Guide hails him as "a Texas music institution." In 2004, he was inducted into the Texas Hall of Fame.

Opening artist: Brad Russell Band at 7 p.m. With deep roots in classic country, honky-tonk, southern rock and blues, Brad has branded his music as "ronky-tonk." He released a new EP this year as well as a live, acoustic full-length album with music to move the people.

For your health and safety
The Levitt has taken required health and safety precautions to help make your visit to the lawn as safe as possible during the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic. Antibacterial stations are located by the restrooms and throughout the concert area. A cleaning crew will sanitize the bathrooms before, during and after concerts. Please do not attend concerts if you are not feeling well, have a temperature of 100 degrees or higher, or have been exposed to the virus. Thank you for following safety protocols of social distancing and wearing a mask. Stopping the spread of COVID-19 is up to all of us.
