All of our wool products would qualify as environmentally-friendly products. Wool carpets are among the lowest emitters of VOC's (Volatile Organic Compounds) of any materials used for interior refinishing. Wool is considered a bio-based fiber since the green fields of New Zealand are the "factories" where it's produced and grass is the "fuel" used to produce it. As such, wool carpets qualify for LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) credit. Every Unique product tested easily meets the requirements for Green Label Certification as well as the California section 01350 VOC emissions test. Additionally, recycled wool makes a great fertilizer so it can be (and is) used to produce more grass, upon which sheep feed, to produce more wool. So it's a closed-loop sort of deal.

Note that synthetic dyes have been used to add color to textiles and carpets for over a century and have minimal environmental impact. But for those who want to be as natural as possible, the above products are worth a look. Their color-lines are created by blending the colors that naturally occur in wool. Sorry! No purple.
As we've mentioned before, our CEO loves to buy things: Primarily carpet. Aside from the products we manufacture here, we also sell products that are made exclusively for us by some of Europe and New Zealand's finest carpet producers which the boss gleefully buys on an incredibly regular basis and we introduce them as running line products. But they have more things to buy, and so he does. They're specials: First-quality material that is being sold off for various reasons, in quantity, and at reduced prices. So we offer them to you on a while-quantities-last basis. You can see what we have on our site
here. Also shown on the site is current inventory to give you an idea of what's available.
The best part of the whole deal is, unlike some manufacturer's specials, you don't have to buy the whole roll to get the special price. You can order the exact quantity you need. No cut-order price! Plus, we can offer 10" x 10" samples of our specials and a "decorative" cardboard box to keep them in. All free of charge!! Is that swell? Or what! Contact your Sales Representative for details.
