CURRENT COMMUNITY MITIGATION LEVEL
SUBSTANTIAL TO SHELTER IN PLACE
Today, Arkansas Gov. Asa Hutchinson announced new measures in response to COVID-19 and the state's now 62 confirmed cases. Hear his message here.

The health, safety and welfare of our property owners, residents, employees, visitors and businesses are priority one for Hot Springs Village.  We encourage social distancing or sheltering in place to prevent COVID19 from spreading in our community.  We also encourage supporting local businesses as can safely be achieved.  Several are offering delivery services, online services, gift certificates and other creative methods to serve their customers and we applaud their efforts.

We encourage you to visit our webpage https://explorethevillage.com/members/hsv-covid-19/ that is being used to provide the latest updates, including closings and postponements.

We are also using these resources for mitigation planning:
POA Facilities Operations

The POA Administration Offices, which include Member Services, Permitting and Inspections and Public Utility services, are closed to the public until further notice.  Most of these services are available online, by phone, and in some cases, by appointment.  These offices, which are currently being staffed, can be reached at 501-922-5556.

The Woodlands Auditorium, Fitness Center, Library, Coronado Center, and all POA-operated restaurants (for dine in) are also closed.   Several other restaurants throughout the community remain open under various protocols, with many offering takeout menus and delivery services. Additional information on restaurant offerings can be found below.

Most of the community's outdoor recreational activities remain open to members and their guests including golf courses, trails, tennis and pickleball facilities. All will be operated on the under-10 or social distancing practices.

Restaurants
In keeping with the Governor's latest announcement all POA restaurants will be closed to dining in. The following restaurants will continue to provide take out services:
  • DeSoto Club & Grill
  • Granada Grill
  • Mulligan's at Ponce De Leon
  • Raffaella Rose At Cortez
  • Casa Coronado
The Saint at Isabella will be closed until April 1.

Police & Fire Departments
Hot Springs Village Police Chief, Ricky Middleton, asks the public not to come to the police department for filing non-emergency reports but welcomes calls to their non-emergency number, which is 501-922-0011. "The police department will continue to be a 24-hour, full-service operation. Officers will take reports over the phone. Anyone wishing to speak to an officer in person, including calls to a residence, will be asked to do so outside, if at all possible. Emergency calls should be placed to 9-1-1", said Middleton.

Fire Chief Jason Miller also asks the public not to come to fire stations until further notice and welcomes their calls to the department's general information line, which is 501-922-2210. "The fire department is committed to offering the highest level of service and protection to our community and have implemented these protocols for that purpose. If you have an emergency, please call 9-1-1, but if a visit to one of our stations is imperative, we will send personnel outside to assist you,"  said Miller.
