Allison took home a second-place finish in the Advanced with the Business Ben Partnership's Business Ben last weekend at the Millbrook Horse Trials in Millbrook, New York. The drive was long but the courses are always top-notch with the event marking the start of the fall season, everyone comes out ready to compete. While Millbrook is also known for storms with this year bring no different, nothing stopped Ben from staying on his 30.7 dressage score all weekend through the difficult Advanced courses. Allison was so impressed with him once again and is excited for the fall season to come.
Allison also took Nancy Winter's Crystal Crescent Moon who was not to be outdone by also finishing on his dressage score in the Preliminary. He got the worst of the storms on Saturday for cross country but he showed his grit and galloped home inside the time. After finishing up his weekend with a clean show jumping round, he picked up a pink ribbon for his fifth-place finish. This horse is turning out to be a real star and he will have a big fall coming up as well.
