Hurricane Florence Relief
Thank you to the Wesley and Pathfinders Sunday School Classes, as well as numerous individuals, for your contributions of supplies and money for hurricane relief through Wrightsville United Methodist Church where Rev. Doug Lain, Jr., is pastor. These donations have been delivered to the church and are being used for hurricane victims in the Wrightsville/Wilmington area where the need is ongoing. If you feel led to contribute financially, send your check to Wrightsville UMC, PO Box 748, Wrightsville Beach, NC 28480 and mark it for Hurricane Relief.
In Christ’s love,
Jane and Doug Lain
We Need Drivers!
The Missions committee is looking for drivers for the little bus to provide transportation for Sheraton towers residents to the community meal at Ward Street Mission on Thursday nights. This is an important ministry of our church and currently, we are down to three drivers. The time commitment is from 5:15 Pm to 6:30 PM. No special license is needed to drive the little bus but you will have to be added to the church insurance. Please contact Gart Evans or Pastor Debra if you are willing to help.

Parson's Table Starts Soon!

Every year, the UMW fund close to $20,000 in missions all over the world with the money that is made from the two weeks that Parson's Table is open. This fall, Parson's Table will open on October 12th and run through the 17th. Hours are from 11:00 AM - 2:00 PM. We hope to see you there!

A New Church Directory
Get signed up for the church directory! You can still sign up online - simply go to the Universal website, www.ucdir.com, clcik on "Schedule Appointment", enter nc160 in the Church code field and enter fuhp in the Church Password field. Follow prompts to schedule your family's appointment time. You can also sign up by calling Pat Church in the office at (336) 812-4362.

As we continue preparing, we know there will be some who are out of town during these dates. Since the directory company does not offer make-up dates, you may submit a photo to be included in the directory. It will cost $10.00 and entitle you to receive a directory. All photos must be on photographic paper and be either a vertical wallet size or 4x6 photo. The picture and $10.00 must be received by October 25th to the church office. Include all names of the people in the picture and a telephone number. All photos will be returned to the church after the directory is completed.
Crop Pecans
The Pathfinders will be selling new crop pecans again this year as a money making project for their class. The pecans will be delivered in early November just in time for your holiday baking. Please place your order for new crop pecans-either regular or chocolate- with any member of the Pathfinder's Class.
Wonderful Wednesday
Wonderful Wednesday is when we gather to share a meal together in our Fellowship Hall. You must make a reservation by the Monday before, so we know how much to prepare.

There will not be a meal on October 10th due to preparations for Parson's Table . Our regularly scheduled meals will return October 24th .
