Bright Red Sparks
As many of you know, we were planning to hold our Bright Red Sparks awards ceremony on Thursday, 9 April, at The Balmoral Hotel. After careful consideration, we have made the decision to cancel the awards ceremony, however competition winners will still be announced online as planned on Thursday, 9 April. We will update you with further information closer to the date on how you can find out about our Bright Red Sparks winners and potential low-key celebrations later this year, if this is possible.
BRT Incubator Spaces
As it stands, our Merchiston and Craiglockhart incubator spaces will be closed by the end of tomorrow for the foreseeable future. We strongly recommend all of our members with belongings in either of the incubator spaces to collect these items today or get in touch with our team by email here and inform us if there is anything you need urgently. We will of course be in touch as and when we have further updates.
Mail
If you or your business have a BRT incubator address as your mailing address, we would encourage you to collect your mail today or get in touch with us by email here and we can arrange for it to be posted. If you are expecting any important/urgent communications to be sent to the incubators, we would encourage you to make arrangements to change your mailing address as soon as possible. This is in case there are any premises closures.

Advice for Freelancers and SMEs
