 COVID-19 Guidance for  Pinellas County Businesses
P INELLAS COUNTY, FL (March 18, 2020) 

Following state guidance, Pinellas County Administrator Barry A. Burton on Tuesday announced a new restriction aimed at slowing the transmission of COVID-19 over the next 30 days: 
  • Effective on Wednesday, and continuing throughout Pinellas County's Local State of Emergency (including any extension), all restaurants and any other establishments licensed to sell alcohol for consumption on premises not limited by the governor's executive order must cease serving alcohol by 10 p.m. 
Burton, together with Pinellas County Sheriff Bob Gualtieri at an afternoon press conference, also reiterated the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention guidance that all beach visitors and individuals gathering in public practice their social responsibility by:
  • Limiting group gatherings to no more than 10 people; and,
  • By keeping a distance of at least six feet from other parties.
The beaches remain open at this time.

Pinellas County is under a Local State of Emergency. Pinellas County's Emergency Operations Center is partially activated.
