TEAM TRYOUTS
When: Monday, November 12
Tryouts for winter teams including the 13.1 Project begin Monday, November 12. Please make sure your child brings proper shoes, practice clothes, and a water bottle with them for practices each day.
It is important all athletes attend every practice.
The winter game practice and game schedules will be posted to the Beaver website on the
Teams & Schedules page. Please check the schedule daily, as practice times and gym locations can change on short notice.
TEAM PLACEMENT
Varsity and junior varsity teams have roster caps, as do all Afternoon Activities; therefore, some students will not be placed on a varsity or junior varsity team and will be encouraged to select another Afternoon Activity.
If your child's fall team has postseason play, they will be able to try out for their winter team once their fall season has officially ended. Winter Strength and Conditioning, and Spin will start after the Thanksgiving break on Monday, November 26 along with all other Afternoon Activities.
ImPACT TESTING
The ImPACT test is MANDATORY for all Upper School students participating in athletics. We use ImPACT testing as a way to monitor an athlete's return to action after suffering a concussion.
Please have your child complete the ImPACT test at home prior to tryouts.
